Armenian-Canadian pianist David Ian offers his own Christmas performance, bringing jazz trio arrangements from his four “Vintage Christmas” releases spanning over a decade. His sound is reminiscent of classic Christmas nostalgia with notable influences of Vince Guaraldi and Bill Evans. In fact, the Wall Street Journal has described Ian as “a postmodern Vince Guaraldi.”
