Nashville-native-turned-LA-success Melvin “Maestro” Lightford has worked with some of the biggest names in the industry today, including Mickey Guyton, Corbin Blue, Keb Mo, Michael McDonald, and more. He now celebrates the release of his sophomore album, Sir Wellington, a collection of big band music composed out of Lightford’s love for the classic big band composers of yesteryear, Duke Ellington, Count Basie, and Quincy Jones.
